Sphinx Hotel is located at Weteringschans 82, 1017 XR Amsterdam, Netherlands. We are situated in the heart of Amsterdam, close to Leidseplein and the Rijksmuseum.
Check-in is from 15:00 and check-out is until 11:00. Early check-in may be available for guests who book directly with us — subject to availability.
We recommend keeping a close eye on your belongings when using public transport.
From Schiphol Airport to Amsterdam Central Station
Take the train (direct, ~15 minutes). Trains run every 10 minutes.
From Amsterdam Central Station to Vijzelgracht
Take metro 52 (~5 minutes). Trams run every 5-10 minutes.
Exit: Weteringschans to Sphinx Hotel
Walk within 3 minutes to Sphinx Hotel.
Breakfast is not included in the room rate. However, there are many excellent cafes and bakeries within walking distance of the hotel where you can enjoy a great start to your day.
We recommend to not leave valuables in your car, even when parked in a garage.
